Our guesthouse is located in one of the most iconic areas of Rome. If you are interested in visiting and learning about Roman history all you will need to do is step out the door. You will find yourself engulfed in Rome's most famous landmarks: the Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia, Saint Peter's, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.
Everything you have always wanted to visit will be a short walk or a short ride with one of Rome's many public transport systems.
If you are interested in shopping, via del Corso (known in Italy as the "Via dello Shopping") is just a short walk away. There you will find all of the famous italian brands and boutiques along with many other popular establishments.
At night Via dei Pastini is a quiet and discreet, allowing you to get a good night's sleep. Nonetheless if it is nightlife you are after you can find many of bars and clubs close by. Trastevere, Rome's nightlife epicenter, is just across the river and can be readily reached with a 10-15 minute walk.
In the past, the "trionfini" were packages of pastries, fresh pasta and other goods that were gifted to women to celebrate their newborns. Up until the last century the area around the Pantheon was famous for it baskets full of these presents.
Via dei Pastini became the most reknowned area in Rome where these fancy baskets were prepared and filled with cakes, "savoiardi", chicken and "capponi" as a omen of happiness and prosperity.
